Victorian 18ct gold old cut diamond belcher set ring, c.1870s

Dating to the last quarter of the 19th century, this antique 18ct gold ring fits neatly into the Victorian era. Beautifully claw set with an old cut diamond in a belcher style setting. The diamond is bright, lively and displays a gorgeous open culet and high crown. Diamond measures 4.6 mm – 5 mm in diameter and is estimated to be 0.46 – 0.50 carats. Open backed setting allowing the light to shine through. With beautifully fluted flowing shoulder details. Dates to c.1878. Please note the box shown is for demonstration purposes.
