An aesthetically designed, contemporary 9ct gold ring set with an oval shaped opal and raspberry red rubies. The opal measures 8 mm x 6 mm and displays a very good range of colour, including strong flashes of green, blue, orange and yellow. Surrounded by a halo of 12 individually set 4 – 5 point rubies, totalling an estimated 0.48 – 0.60 carats. Beautifully claw set. The ring face measures 14 mm x 12 mm. Dates to the early 21st century.
