Aesthetic 18ct gold and platinum emerald and diamond cluster ring, c.1940s

A very pretty, classically designed 18ct gold ring dating to the mid 20th century, c.1940s to 1950s. Set with a central square cut emerald and a frame of brilliant cut diamonds. The ring face is set in platinum and measures 9 mm x 9 mm. Flanked by engraved shoulders and on a plain yellow gold shank. This beautiful piece would make a perfect vintage engagement ring.
