A fabulous antique 9ct gold intaglio ring dating to the first quarter of the 20th century. Beautifully set with a rectangular shape intaglio with the sweetest canted corners. The intaglio, hand engraved in bloodstone, depicts a hand holding a sword, most likely depicting a family crest. It is such a rare and visually rich piece. In good condition for its age, please note a couple of minor chips present to the edges. A fabulous example of historical jewellery that is as mesmerising today as it was over one hundred years ago. Ring face measures 11 mm x 8 mm. With hand inscribed ‘R to B 13 2 43’ inside the shank.
