Antique Edwardian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring, c.1910

Dating to the early 20th century this sweet antique piece fits neatly into the Edwardian era. Designed as a classic cluster ring with central oval cut sapphire, beautifully framed by mini diamonds in a platinum fronted setting. The cluster measures 9 mm x 7 mm. The sapphire is a rich and deep blue and the diamonds are well matched. Flanked by arched shoulders. On a plain shank. A gorgeous example of antique English jewellery.
